PRIMARY FUNCTION OF POSITION

Being a key member of the Marketing Team of Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo – The Making of Harry Potter, the role will manage all day-to-day marketing needs across all departments including Visitor Experience, Retail, Trade and Education to positively contribute to achieving business and marketing objectives towards a successful opening scheduled in 2023 with long term sustainable growth.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: TOTAL 100%

40%:

1. Oversees creative and production activities

· Manage the production and distribution of marketing materials (including image and video requests, signage, ads) for tours, consumer, education and trade use)

· Support the facilitation of photo & video shoots and the creation of informed briefs for creative agencies to interpret and deliver excellent brand and marketing creatives

30%:

2. Partner Marketing

· Maintain a good working relationship with other WBD divisions, external partners and agencies of the Tour

· Manage the team’s handling of online inbox and coordinate requests with relevant departments

· Support any marketing events (internal and external, consumer and trade), when required

20%:

3. Market research and internal reporting

· Work with agency and manage the brand and visitors survey including questionnaires, reports; share analysis and reports with wider teams

· Ensure the production of internal reports are delivered at a high level of quality and in timely manner

· Ensure the post-campaign analysis are produced for reviewing results and sharing learnings to inform future activities

· Manage the day-to-day Finance related tasks (Purchase Orders, Invoices etc) to ensure all are handled in an accurate and timely manner

· Be responsible of constant Market trend updates and competitors study

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Work Experience

A solid marketing background with 5 years of experience essential

Experience in Entertainment/ Leisure/ Attractions/ Tourism business will be an advantage

Experience and success in working in a dynamic or start-up environment

Reporting Structure:

Reporting to Regional Trade Marketing Manager and dotted to Japan Commercial Manager.

Main Responsibilities:

The main objective of the position is to lead the implementation of all trade marketing activities to drive Loewe Perfume market share in Japan.

  • Be the voice of local market by providing market insight to global cross functional teams to ensure campaigns / programs are relevant to local consumers.
  • Partner with global and regional cross function teams including, marketing, PR, digital, VM and trade marketing teams to ensure the implementation of global 360 marketing plans are relevant to local market needs.
  • Support local commercial team to implement marketing activities with our retail partners.
  • Lead the annual multi-channel animations and POSM planning and establish KPIs to measure impact.
  • Manage the annual trade marketing budget to maximize ROI.
  • Owns weekly / monthly sales reporting for all POS.

Profiles:

  • Degree in Business Administration finance, sales or similar.
  • High level of English.
  • Minimum of 5 years or experience in trade marketing or marketing.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We need a Brand Marketing Manager to join our Jordan Brand Management team. This person will play a critical role in helping grow the future of basketball and the Jordan brand in Japan, therefore this person should have a comprehensive grasp of the Tokyo basketball scene, as well as the youth culture and sneaker landscape.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

You will partner with our Japan Marketing leaders and the APLA (Asia-Pacific Latin America) geography to execute our Jordan brand strategy and driving cross-functional execution of our seasonal and daily initatives.

You will work across the geography and key city offense focused on key projects that build consumer experiences that accelerate brand engagement and business growth opportunities internally and externally for the Jordan Brand.

Activities of the role include gaining insight from consumers including cultural trends, overseeing product integration into seasonal programming, briefing marketing initiatives, supporting development of seasonal programming, managing asset development and distribution across multiple channels, delivering marketing plans from ideation to execution and managing campaign progress measurement including recapping and de-briefing.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

As a Brand Manager, you will work daily with the Nike Japan Jordan Brand Director and partner closely with the APLA Jordan Brand Team. You will coach and manage a Brand Specialist in the execution of our marketing activities. You will collaborate with teammates across Nike to build more effective and efficient ways to encourage and connect with athletes*.

You will also collaborate and partner with the following key internal and external partners: Geography and City Teams, Brand Management, Brand Creative, Integrated Media, Consumer Direct Marketing including Channel Marketing, PR/Communications, Social & Community Impact, Product & Merchandising, Marketplace Partners, Finance & Procurement, Agency & Production partners.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of working experience in consumer marketing or related experience in fashion, editorial, publishing, sports, consumer brands, magazines, streaming platforms, subscription services.; 2 years additional experience in lieu of a degree
  • Japanese: Business Level, English: Business level minimum
  • Genuine passion for basketball and knowledge of sneaker/streetwear culture, youth culture trends and the Jordan brand
  • Ability to think strategically, lead initiatives, project teams and influence effectively
  • Pro-active information-seeking skills, with the ability to balance creativity with organizational and procedural excellence in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
  • A team-first mentality with ambition to coach and mentor others
